A Freebie Ride & Ohio Spring Tour

This is a ride for everyone to enjoy and an opportunity to put in some early season miles. The route will be over mostly secondary roads and the terrain is generally flat. Tour the historic towns and villages of Lorain County a week after the Paris-Roubaix but without the cobbles. There will be one route with three cutoffs to provide routes of 25, 50 and 64 miles.
This this is a FREEBIE ride, so there will be NO arrows or food. There will be a map and all the routes are very easy to follow. All riders will be required to wear an approved helmet to participate in AFROST. There will be NO SAG wagon, ride patches, or food stops. You'll pass through Oberlin, Wellington and LaGrange, so are many places to buy food along the routes.
Registration will be from 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM and you may leave at your leisure. Registration, start-finish and parking will be at the Amherst City Parking Lot #3. From State Route 58, turn west on Park Ave (just north of the RR overpass) until you see the Marines raising the flag on Iwo Jima & others at the "Wall". Turn left into the parking lot and go to the south end. A MAP of the Amherst area is available in PDF format.
