Tour de Forest Benefit Bicycle Ride

The annual Little Cities Tour de Forest Benefit Bicycle Ride will be held Saturday, May 2 beginning on Nelsonville’s Historic Public Square. Pre-Registration is recommended for this non-competitive ride which offers both leisurely and challenging routes either along the Hock Hocking Adena Bikeway or into the rugged hills to the east. This year's event includes tours of historic opera houses along the variety of routes (2-40 miles Family Bike Path Route, 26, 40, 63 & 100 miles).

Registration includes homemade granola bars, lunch and Tour de Forest t-shirts. Proceeds benefit the Little Cities of the Black Diamonds Council, a heritage preservation organization working to save and share the provocative and nationally significant history and regenerating landscape of southeastern Ohio’s Hocking Valley Coal Region and the Little Cities of the Forest Collaborative, a group of organizations promoting environmental restoration, education and recreation in the same region. Registration and ride details are available at http://tourdeforest.wordpress.com/ or by calling 740-394-3011.
