Geauga Gravel
* An annual tradition since 2012 *
WHEN: Monday, September 2nd @ 8:30am
WHERE: Thompson square, SR528 & Leroy Thompson Road
Mixed surface, more than 50% unpaved surface. Pretty flat until the end of the ride. Recommend 2 spare tubes - 32mm file treads are ideal, but could go narrower if you have the skills. Self-supported, no SAG, water, or food on route. Distance for long route in the vicinity of 40 miles, shorter routes can be made ad hoc.
Pace groups TBD, based on who shows up.
Non-cycling partners can enjoy nearby Thompson Ledges Park, a 60-acre park situated atop a ridge with trails through sandstone crevices and ledges. Primitive restroom, pump water, & picnic pavilion available at this park.
See RideWithGps for map and cue sheet - this version omits the usual scenic bypass, which can be taken at your discretion. Hard copy maps will NOT be provided. https://ridewithgps.com/routes/18622478
